Dinner is a craftable quest item, by using various processed consumables, created through cooking. The recipe is unlocked while progressing through the Merchant's quest-line. Despite being able to create various qualities, they're only useful by delivering 5x to the Merchant upon request; they cannot otherwise be sold, consumed, or used in any way.

The dinner is a complex craftable, with a base increase of 30% towards quality chance. The required three items, roughly categorized into snacks, meals, and desserts, may impart additional bonuses of their own. These consumable items without any quality will not impart a bonus, while copper, silver, and gold qualities will increase the overall chance by a further 33%, 67%, or 100% respectively, per item.

Tips & Tricks

Including the base increase of 30%, a Dinner can be crafted at 97% chance utilizing one silver and two gold quality items. With this in mind:

• Choices in snacks are limited to / Onion rings and Toasts with onions, or Pancakes

 • Pancakes would require the rare and expensive resource butter.

 • The onion dishes simply require a silver or gold onion. (They are also remarkably cheap to buy)

• Choices in meals are vast, usually requiring a / vegetable or fish fillet.

 • The baked pumpkin or baked salmon are generally thought to be the easiest to obtain.

 • However, these do require the purchase of expensive recipes from Miss Chain.

 • The burger, while being the most complex, is the most likely to be readily available.

 • The recipe will be unlocked, it has a unique beneficial effect, and is also used during another quest-line.

 • It not only requires a high-quality onion, but the energy-intensive bread and baked meat as well.

 • Cabbage Soup is the easiest to make since Onions are used in Snacks and the other ingredients are easy to obtain

• Choices in desserts are limited to Cake or / Grape pie.

 • Cake requires multiple ingredients, all of which are relatively inexpensive and easy to obtain.

 • Grape pie requires some silver or gold grapes, likely already obtainable by this stage of the game.

In conclusion, to make a gold Dinner, it is recommended to use : Toasts with onions - Cabbage Soup - Grape pie.
