Faceted diamonds are miscellaneous crafting materials, mined from outcroppings found in the dungeon, on levels 8, 11, 13 and 15. One node of Diamond can also be found in the Souls Room. These crystal protrusions require a pick axe to be mined, as well as the appropriate technology to be unlocked. Each of these crystals will yield 4x diamonds (or 5x with the Jeweler perk).
In v1.3, a bug was temporarily introduced where the merchant was unable to sell or buy this item. In v1.4, this is once again possible.[1]
