Gold nuggets are a fairly rare resource that can be obtained through a variety of methods, none of which are particularly reliable. They can either be processed into ingots at a higher-tier furnace, or broken down into a powder in order to be utilized through alchemy.

- While exploring the dungeon, you may come across:
- • gold ore veins, requiring a pickaxe to mine, each yielding 8x nuggets.
- • four total, found on levels six, nine, fourteen, and fifteen.
- • +1x/ea if the Jeweler perk has been unlocked.
- • several golems on level 15 that must be destroyed.
- • four should spawn, dropping 2-5x nuggets each, potentially yielding 20x.
- • very small chance. approx 14%. (8 nuggets from 50 blocks)
- • blocks from the iron vein, located in the northwest corner, near the Quarry.
- • processing these blocks into ore.
- By processing the gold crucian fish at the cooking table.
- • while catching them can be difficult, each fish yields 1x nugget.
- From the moneylender in the Refugee camp for 22 silver.
