The heart is a bodypart the can be removed at the preparation place and will have the effect of removing 
, 
, or chosen randomly from the corpses rating. See the corpses page for more information on corpse rating and the effects of the various operations or the preparation place workstation page for the list of other body parts that can be removed there. Studying Heart at the Study table will give you 50.
A standard heart will always have random stats of 1-3 's and/or 1-3 's these stats are initially hidden. Later, the Inquisitor will teach you how to see the exact stats in addition to a chance to find a Dark heart.
